The snow has cleared, and a substantial amount of ice has melted (where it is not shaded). Hoping it clears enough to get onto the nearest waterpoint at some stage.

Meanwhile, the birds are busy busy.

 Canal still frozen, and now the snow makes an appearance.

Winter

 Looks like we are going to be here for a while. Quite a thick covering on the canal.

 All the landlubbers have been busy today. Starting to feel a bit like Xmas.

 Finally seem to be getting rid of the flu. Had a trip out to Banbury festival and had a nice day weatherwise. The festival itself was a bit drab, and 6 quid for a hotdog is seriously taking the piss!

Needless to say, won't bother going again.

Monday 26th September

 Moved to Leighton Buzzard, still suffering from flu. No strength or energy.

Tuesday 20th September

 Moved to Soulbury three locks, then caught flu. Lasted about a week and was not pleasant.
