Cruise down to Cosgrove for water and shopping. Staying for a couple of days possibly.
The bridge in the pictures below is probably the most photographed on the GU canal.
Set off to get water this morning, nice day for it and only
a short 2-mile cruise there and back.
Bit of a pain winding below Cosgrove lock, the overflow
outlet from the canal above makes it difficult to spin the boat around, but
even more annoying is the lack of depth which further complicates the manoeuvre.
It really needs dredging.
Came across some wayward tree trunk, so grabbed it, chopped up and ready for the fire and the beast from the east over the weekend.
December 2020 Lockdown.
Moved from Fenny Stratford just before lockdown. Ended up in Cosgrove due to lack of mooring space. Where there were gaps, it was to shallow to get near the bank.
